Dynamic guided tours
The Education Department encourages the exploration and discovery of the work and philosophy of Eduardo Chillida. Our guided tours and a range of activities are tailored to different ages, from nursery and primary through to secondary and baccalaureate. The museum’s education programme is adapted to the school curriculum.

Meetings with teachers
The Chillida Leku Education Department hosts a series of meetings aimed at teachers and educators who plan to be involved in the museum's activities, or who wish to know more about our education work. These sessions disseminate the museum’s teaching programme and methodologies and provide an opportunity for listening to and exchanging ideas. They also provide a framework for joint project development with a view to providing an educational programme which is adapted to school’s real needs.

Teaching resources
Chillida Leku can provide teachers and educators with a series of resources to facilitate autonomous museum access with their students, without the need for a guide. However, the materials can also complement a guided visit led by the museum's education team. Our teaching resources enable an in-depth study of the multiple facets of Chillida's work and philosophy. They reveal the depth and diversity of his art, with an emphasis on the artist's materials and techniques and on the richness of the themes tackled by the sculptor throughout his long creative career. The complexity of the artist's work—spanning such disparate fields as music, poetry, architecture and science—mean that the museum’s teaching programme can be tailored to the school curriculum.
