Lotura inclusive education programme

Educational programme developed with the support of the "La Caixa" Foundation through CaixaBank and the Eduardo Chillida Foundation - Pilar Belzunce

Lotura seeks to create an affective link between the museum and the organisations that work with people at risk of social exclusion and to turn it into a reference space where they can go and feel comfortable.

Lotura is a space for meeting, learning and experimentation. The people who take part in the programme will have the chance to get close to art, to get to know the work of Eduardo Chillida and the place that houses his legacy, but they will also be able to familiarise themselves with and experiment with different artistic disciplines with local artists and creators.

Lotura consists of a programme of five two-hour sessions with activities adapted to the needs of each group.

- Forest baths and Land Art, taught by Itziar Insausti, a specialist in forest therapy.

- Space and emptiness. Art and architecture workshop. Taught by Maushaus

- Rayogram workshop. Taught by the photographer Nagore Legarreta.

- Inhabiting sculpture. Movement workshop given by the choreographer Myriam Pérez.

- Experiencing the earth. Ceramics workshop given by the artist Aitor Ruiz de Eguino.

Chillida Leku is the space that hosts this proposal that connects art, nature and wellbeing with the aim of improving sociability and strengthening collaboration with organisations and institutions that work on inclusion.
