100 years of Eduardo Chillida with the Telefónica Collection

This year, one of the major milestones in the commemoration of the Eduardo Chillida Centenary will be 100 years of Eduardo Chillida with the Telefónica Collection, an exhibition that will be open at Chillida Leku until 13 October.

 

This major exhibition brings together a selection of pieces by the sculptor that form part of the artistic heritage of Telefónica, a telecommunications and digital solutions company that during the 1980s led pioneering work in the field of corporate collecting and that this 2024 also celebrates the first centenary of its creation.

 

100 years of Eduardo Chillida with the Telefónica Collection will show works from the 1980s from the Telefónica Collection and will be completed with works from the Chillida Leku collection from the 1990s and 2000s. The exhibition takes place inside Chillida Leku, covering the whole of the Zabalaga farmhouse, its nerve centre, a place that marks the beginning of a new stage of great changes and maturity for the artist.
