Chillida Leku awarded the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts

The Council of Ministers has designated the museum as one of the cultural institutions to be honoured in the 2023 awards.

This recognition, which we are delighted to receive on the eve of the celebration of the centenary of Eduardo Chillida's birth, is a tribute to his work and his legacy. Chillida Leku is the dream that the artist designed during his lifetime, a place where Eduardo Chillida's essence and philosophy permeate every corner.
